Taking care of your new tattoo is just as important as the tattooing process itself. At Diamond Tip Tattoo in Dapto, we walk every client through aftercare before you leave the chair.

Keep the area clean with a mild, fragrance-free wash. Pat dry — never scrub. Apply a thin layer of the balm or cream we recommend (available in our Studio Shop for pickup). Avoid pools, ocean, saunas and long soaks until healed. Skip picking scabs or flakes; let them fall naturally.

Sun is the enemy of fresh ink. Cover up or use SPF once the tattoo is fully healed. If something looks wrong — excess swelling, pus, heat — call the studio on (02) 4261 4311.
